Boo!
Another quick update on the kids as they have reached 11 months old. (This blog is going to serve as my version of a baby book--or books in our case.)
Tessa is getting her seventh tooth. She has never suffered as much as her brother with cutting teeth. She is very vocal. When I set her down she says, "Dada blah blah blah," which I know means "Daddy, how could you?" She's got a vocabulary now, not that it is in English. She'll also repeat words, like "boo" when you say them to her. She is moving around a lot now. She hasn't learned to crawl like her brother, but she can scoot around to get to where she wants to go. She's also started to try and pull herself up into a sitting position.
Adam was pulled out of daycare on Monday with a fever. He probably has a sinus infection, and he has a small infection on his foot. Both are being treated with an antibiotic, and he was pretty much back to normal yesterday. He is such a boy: any toy that Tess plays with is an immediate target for him. He crawls everywhere. Last night while the Missus and I were making dinner, he crawled around the kitchen and tried to open every last drawer he could reach. He is very close to standing and walking on his own. He is vocal too; most of his words contain various numbers and inflections of the syllable "da." He's got three teeth: one bottom and two top now.
Both kids are incredibly cute and adorable, at least most of the time. They are really starting to play with each other now. They make each other laugh, right up until Adam makes Tessa cry.
I continue to be stunned at how much I love them. I didn't think it was possible.
