A Mr. Mom Weekend

We have the family room and kitchen gated off from the rest of the house and usually let the kids roam around freely. We thought it pretty safe, but the twins have a way of letting us know when we missed something.

The Missus and I were sitting in the family room. Adam came walking in from the kitchen. He walks everywhere now, though his stride bares a striking resemblence to mine the night of that memorable drinking fiasco in Annapolis before I ended up sitting on a curb in the rain for an hour. Adam's balance is somewhat better. As he strolled into the room we noticed that he had something in his hand: a plastic fork. Turns out that they can open cabinets now. Great.

I'll be taking the day off tomorrow. The Missus has a work confernce to attend starting tomorrow and continuing through the weekend, so this looks like a job for Mr. Mom! Help!

I'm sure I'll be fine. I hope.

Ah... memories. I remember them fondly.

Fortunately, Emma and Aidan weren't that interested in the cabinets.

You've got your work cut out for you. No rest for the weary!

Enjoy your weekend.
