A Phone Call from the Missus

"I went and got Tessa's hair cut today," she said.

"Really?" said I.

"And I just wanted to warn you that it's kinda short."

"I thought we were going to let it grow out some more."

"Well that was before the kids tipped over their toy shopping cart to use as a step stool to get into the kitchen drawers. Tessa got a hold of some nail polish and decided to rub it into her hair."

"Oh," said I. "Is she still cute?"

"Of course!" said the Missus.
