Spanish Class

I took the twins to their weekly Spanish class yesterday. They enjoy the class and their teacher is really nice. The Missus and I usually enjoy an hour-and-a-half of freedom. Since the Missus was studying for her final exam, I took the opportunity to do a little shopping. When I came back to pick them up, I sat in the lobby with some other parents to wait for the class to end. I could hear the kids in the back talking in Spanish with the teacher, especially Tessa, who has a really loud voice (like her dad.)

The teacher said, "Te quiero mucho...that's how we say 'I love you very much.' You can tell your daddy that."

My Tessa responds, really loudly, "But my daddy doesn't understand Spanish!"

The other parents started chuckling. "I'm trying!" I yelled back, weakly.

Tessa came out, smiling. I smiled back and said, "¡Te quiero mucho, Tessita!"
