Christmas 2007

The twins were excited about Christmas without worrying about what they were getting. They loved opening presents, but they still didn't really understand the whole thing. I figure this is the last year before they really get into it.

I was singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" around the house. Tessa got the message. "Don't be bad, Adam!" she would remind him. "Santa Claus," she would say seriously. My girl can be a tad bossy sometimes.

Tessa is my little model. She loves getting her picture taken. Adam not so much. He hides whenever I get my camera out. I did manage to get a few shots, including our annual family portrait. Well, we skipped last year, but it will be annual from now on.

Tessa got a medical kit from Aunt Patty that included some silly spectacles. Adam, of course, got his favorite: books.

The Jingle Bell Rocker

Here's a picture of Tessa dressed as a Jingle Bell Rocker for her ballerina recital last weekend. I've finally found time to get to the pictures. It's been a busy week--I even forgot to put in my football picks.

I'll post a picture of Adam next.

Merry Christmas!

Baby Ballerina

Last Saturday, Tessa had her ballet recital. She was a Jingle Bell Rocker, and performed beautifully, of course. The Missus and I were most happy that she didn't disrobe on stage. She had a lot of fun, the little ham. Pictures are forthcoming--I was pretty busy juggling my digital camera and the video camera.

Tessa must have caught a bug from one of the other ballerinas. She started getting sick--a bad cold with a little temp--on Sunday and has been feeling bad ever since. She hardly ever gets sick, so we can't complain. It gives her a chance to pull tissues out of the box, thousands and thousands at a time--or so it seems--it's really just hundreds.

Everyone else in the family has some kind of bug too, just for fun. Hopefully we'll all recover before Christmas.

I can't wait for some time off. It's been an extra busy time at work--last week I had to go to California, and yesterday I was in the Philadelphia area. I'm bicoastal, baby!

Pictures to come, promise...
