The Gleasons
We've been trying to teach the kids their full name.
"What's you're name?" we asked Tessa.
"Tessa," she said.
"Tessa Gleason," we corrected her.
"I'm Tessa Gleason," she said and we applauded. She picked up on it really quick.
We asked her brother, "What's your name?"
He didn't answer. "Adam Gleason," we said.
"No," he said. "I'm Adie." Apparently he will be forever known by the name that Tessa gave him when they first learned to talk.
The other morning, Tessa got up early and, as usual, called for me to get her out of the crib. She hollered, "Daddy Gleason, where are you? Come and get me out, Daddy Gleason!"
Smart girl.
